Freeview Digital TV
Freeview channels and services are digital. You receive them through a rooftop aerial.
You pay a one-off equipment cost for a digital recevier that allows your existing television to receive the digital signals. This connects to your existing aerial socket.
Or you can buy an integrated digital LCD TV with the adapter built in (an iDTV). Just look for the digital tick.
Then, once you are set up to receive Freeview, there is no more to pay (you may need to upgrade your aerial) and no contract. Freeview really is free-to-view.
